Let’s talk about one common mistake people make when in a bad mood.
I remember times I would be in a bad mood and not understand where it was coming from.
When in a bad mood, do you ever question where the bad mood is coming from?
Like, for real, do you genuinely dive inside to understand why you feel so unsettled and feel like being left alone or feel like being rude or snotty when someone asks you something?
Many people skip this part of knowing what’s behind their bad mood and simply think it’s just a bad day or something.
Doing this is actually ignoring the real cause of the problem; this may even prolong the bad mood rather than getting to its root.
Just saying you will sleep it off is not finding what’s happening; it’s simply numbing your feelings with sleep as a coping mechanism.
And if you never know how to find out what’s behind the bad mood, then the cycle keeps repeating itself.
You get in a bad mood – you avoid people, talk in a moody way, and sleep.
Learn how to get to the root of the bad mood, and when you understand the cause and source, then process it so you don’t hurt other people you love.
Do it for yourself as well, so you do not spend as much time feeling moody.
