Anger, guilt, shame, all these negative emotions are part of the human experience.
Every emotion has a lesson behind it…
But we have been conditioned that we should be happy all the time and negative emotions are bad…
And thus why whenever we experience negative emotions, we try to escape them by numbing our emotions like
- taking wine,
- smoking,
- watching tv to forget how we’re feeling,
- sleeping,
- emotional eating,
- unhealthy venting to all our friends, etc.
What if you learned how to sit down with your emotions, healthily process them, and find the root cause of their coming from?
What could happen?
